Our Vision

Ephesus Gatherings Worldwide serves as a training centre for equipping God's overcomers to take their place on earth for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Core Values and Beliefs

The Blessed God

We believe in the existence of the Triune God, Elohim who is the creator of all existence. Elohim which is the plural of Eloha indicates the triunity of the one true God. They are in majesty coequal and in essence coeternal. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit who are one in essence, in nature and in attributes. There is however one person of the Father, and of the Son and another person of the Holy Spirit. (Gen1:1; Deut. 6:4; 1 Tim 6:15; John 10:30; Job 26:13)

The Lordship of Jesus Christ

For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God sent His Son, in the fullness of time, to come save the world from destruction. We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ by which means man is saved. The Incarnation, Death, Resurrection, Ascension and Glorification of our Lord is the means by which redemption was made available for mankind. The Lordship of Jesus Christ is the means by which man received a savior through the union of His divinity and humanity in His nature. (Phil. 2:6-11; Isa. 9:6; Jn. 1:1; Rom 3:23; Lk. 1:25-37; Acts 2:24; Acts 2:36; 1 John 4:3)

The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person and coequal and coeternal of the Godhead. He is the present active worker of the Godhead in the church today. Every believer has been given the means to participate in the God-life through the Holy Spirit. We believe in the baptism of the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. The work of the Holy Spirit through helping us bear fruits and the operations of the gifts are all necessary for an effective Christian life. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:3,4; Gal 5:22-23; 1 Cor. 12:3-11, Eph 4:30; 1 Thess 5:19)

The Written Word

We believe in the canon of the Written Word of God (Bible) which captures the Living Word of God. All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, correcting and training in righteousness. (1 John 1:1; John 5:39; 2 Ti. 3:16; 2 Pe. 1:20, 21, Psalm 19:7-11).

Doctrine of Salvation

The wages of sin is death and the gift of God is eternal life. We believe all men have to believe in their heart and confess the lordship of Jesus Christ in order to be saved. It is by this means that the full work of redemption is appropriated in a man’s life. Sanctification, Forgiveness, Consecration, Righteousness and Propitiation are all effected and transmitted by the work of the Holy Spirit who is the seal unto the day of redemption. (Rom 6:23; Rom 10:17; 1 Peter 1:2,3; Eph 1:12,13; Eph 4:30)

The Holy Communion

On the night Jesus was betrayed he gave us the last supper as the means by which we should remember Him. We believe that the holy Communion should be partaken of as often as we meet as believers to remember the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord. (1 Cor 10:13-16; Acts 2;40-42; 1 Cor 11:23-33)

Divine Health and Healing

The fall of man brought a fracture in the quality of life we live which is characterized by weakness, sickness and death. The belief in divine healing and health is primal and a clear indication of the foretaste of the heavenly life. God uses men and sometimes heals through medicine. God heals but doctors cure. (Exodus 15:26; Mk. 16:16-18; Ac. 10:38; Jas. 5:14-15)

Tithes and Offerings

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. We believe in the Kingdom’s economic keys of giving which include; Tithes, alms, first fruits, free-will offerings by which God releases His blessings. (Mal 3:10; Rom 11:16; Psalm 41:1,2; 2 Cor 8:9; 2 Cor 9:6,7)

Fasting and Prayers

The disciplines of the believer by which the flesh is subdued are fasting and prayers. We believe in fasting and prayers as prescribed by scripture. (Isaiah 58:1-13, Matthew 6:16-18; Joel 1:14;2:15)

Water Baptism

Our Lord Jesus Christ, when He gave the great commission stated that we should baptize everyone that is saved in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Therefore, we believe in the baptism by immersion of every soul saved from the ages of accountability (age 12). (Matt 28:18-20; Acts 9:17-19; Acts 8:36-38; 1 Cor 10:1,2)

The Coming of Our Lord and Saviour

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is coming for a church without spot or wrinkle. The Church shall be raptured and be with the Lord. The resurrection of the dead shall also occur and every man shall give an account of whatsoever has been done in the body. We believe that the Lord shall return and rule on the earth with His saints. (Jn. 5:28, 29; 1 Thess 4:13-18; 2 Cor 5:10, Eph 5:27; Jude 1:14; Rev 12:10)

Societal Transformation and Influence

We believe in societal transformation by means of the use of the gospel. The world is in darkness and the church is the light of the world. The Lord Jesus Christ gave us the power to disciple nations and to let our influence as salt and light be evident in the community we live in. (Matt. 5:13-16; Isaiah 2:2,3; Phil 2:15,16; Gen 47:24-27)
